Music
Shane Wyatt’s debut album consists of 11 self-penned songs that cover the full spectrum of emotion and tempo. Heartfelt ballads and gritty, driving songs of yearning showcase Shane’s baritone voice and an all star cast of Nashville musicians. The standouts here are the songs that tell the stories from the Oklahoma born singer and songwriter’s past, from the haunting “Last Cowboy” about a grandfather’s legacy, to the turbo charged “Big Bad Dog”, the story of a pieced together big rig that has already started a sensation with the country dance community. Current single, "Whole Lotta Love" is receiving significant airplay on U.S. and European country radio.

Waiting For Forever
I wish the phone would ring, but it won't
I know you'll be mine forever someday
But when I'm here alone, it seems so far away
So tell me what am I supposed to do?
Waiting for forever with you
Chorus: Waiting for forever and the day my dreams come true
Waiting for the time when I can spend my nights with you
Sometimes the world don't turn the way we want it to
So I'll just do the best I can do
Waiting for forever with you
Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy most the time
'Cause when I hold you, I know you're already mine
But I can't be sure until you say I do
So I guess there'll just be days where I am blue
'Til I'm sure that you feel this way, too
Waiting for forever with you
Chorus2: Waiting for forever and the day my dreams come true
Waiting for the time when I can spend my life with you
Sometimes the world don't turn the way we want it to
So I'll just do the best I can do
Waiting for forever with you
'til I'm sure that you feel this way, too
I'm Waiting for forever
Waiting for forever
Waiting for forever
With you
Yeah

The Last Cowboy
A forty-five strapped on his hip
I was twelve years old when he passed on
Sometimes I think that he still lives
Chorus: He was the last cowboy in Oklahoma
The last true pioneer's son
He was the last cowboy in Oklahoma
Never be another one
When I was old enough to hold a gun
He taught me how to ride and shoot
And I was proud that I was his grandson
But could I ever fill the boots?
Repeat Chorus
Bridge: He said to work that gun 'til it's a part of your own hand
Don't hesitate to defend your family or your land
Oh' and I tried to hang on to every word he said to me
So he wouldn't have to be.
oh, oh, oh
Repeat Chorus
Never be another one.
Never be another one.
Or am I the only one?

Whole Lotta Love
And I love thinkin’ ‘bout you every day
And when the day is through
I love coming home to you
Add it all up, that’s a whole lotta love
Chorus: Every mornin’ as I drive to work
I love you all the way
I can’t get no work done
‘Cause I’m lovin’ you all day
And when I get home to you, sweetheart
That’s when the lovin’ really starts
Add it all up, that’s a whole lotta love
How much do I love you darlin, let me count the ways
I love you once a second, twice as much on Saturdays
‘Round the clock, my love don’t stop
It just keeps pilin’ up
Add it all up, that’s a whole lotta love
Repeat Chorus / Solo / Repeat Chorus
yea when I get home to you, sweetheart
The lovin’ goes right off the chart
Add it all up, that’s a whole lotta love
Add it all up, that’s a …
Whole lotta love

Just Married
Just married wrote on the back of that Chevrolet
That carried them off to start a brand new life
Just barely old enough for man and wife
Chorus: Striking out to take on the whole world
Just a boy in love with just a girl
Just Married
Just married in the pictures old and gray
Just married 15 years ago today
So carefree in those photos from the past
Back when they knew their love would always last
Chorus 2: Sometimes it all seems so far away
They hardly ever think about when they
Were just married
Bridge: No one ever said that love was easy to keep strong
Every year that passes just gets harder to hold on
Just married. They’re not lovers anymore
They’re just married - it’s getting easy to ignore
And bury dreams they made so long ago
But it’s too scary to think of starting new alone
Chorus 3: The love that they once had has died away
Just two people bound by vows they made
Just Married
Just Married
No one ever said that love was easy to keep strong

Lord Help Me (Show Her How I Feel)
In the corners of her mind
Do I still feel the same
After all this time?
I've got to let her know
The power of my love.
But I may need help from above.
Chorus: So Lord help me show her how I feel.
My love still burns strong,
And it always will.
I can't find the words to say -
Would she believe them anyway?
Oh Lord help me show her how I feel.
Sayin' "I love you"
Is a daily routine.
So how can I use those words
To tell her what I mean?
A dozen roses would just
Wither and die
I’ve got to show her this love’s for life.
Repeat Chorus
Bridge: I've got to prove to her
The love that’s in my heart
But I don't know just where to start.
Repeat Chorus
Oh Lord help me show her how I feel.
Oh Lord please help me…
Show her how I feel.

Fly Away
Though it's been a while now you still look the same to me
Don't tell me I don't feel the way I used to
Maybe I don't act the way I should
But how was I supposed to know your eyes were angel blue
When you're the only one I ever knew?
Hope I haven't lost you, let your lovin' slip away
All that's left for me to do is lay awake and pray
That maybe you'll forget about the things I've done
And come to know that you're the only one?
How was I supposed to know you had an angel's smile
When you're the only angel in my life?
Chorus: I guess it's hard sometimes for me to understand
And maybe I don't always do the best I can
But after all you know that Babe I'm just a man
And I don't know how to let it show
Let me ask you one more time to please just take me in
I promise that you'll never have to doubt again
I'll let you know that I love you more each day
Never fail to find the words to say
How was I supposed to know an angel has no wings
When you're the only one I've ever seen?
Repeat Chorus
I guess sometimes it's hard to tell an angel’s passed your way
I didn't know you were an angel –
Didn't know I had an angel –
’Til I watched my angel -
fly away…

Princess
He hasn't seen Princess in days
But last night he dreamt of her warmth
And longed for her lovin' ways
He trades in his suit for blue jeans and boots
And puts that ole truck in high gear
Drives down to the bar where he'll meet her
He knows Princess will always be there
Chorus: Princess don't hurt him like all of the rest
Only she can console his ol' heart
The pain that lives deep in his chest
But Princess is bringin' him down to his knees
'Cause his liquid princess is whiskey
He finally found one that won't leave
At the bar, he gets a new bottle
And pours himself one more round
And each time a memory comes threatnin'
He just shoots it back down
He just sits there as ladies walk past him
The last one's still fresh on his brain
But ol’ Princess is making him stronger
He's already forgotten her name
Repeat Chorus
Bridge: And every time that another one leaves him
He goes back to Princess it seems
Though she never does much but relieve him
He knows Princess is not just a dream
Whoa whoa yeah,
Repeat Chorus
Yeah his liquid princess is whiskey
He finally found one…
That won't leave

Love You Too Much
unless your lying next to me?
And I can’t live without your touch.
Guess I just love you too much.
And every time we have a fight
I just lie awake all night
Wondrin’ how I’ll make it up.
‘Guess I just love you too much
Chorus: Sometimes I wonder
Just what I ever did
To deserve livin’
In this dream that we live.
And nothin’ I could do will ever be enough
To show you my love.
‘Guess I just love you too much
And every day while we’re apart
I walk around with a broken heart.
If I’m not holdin’ you, I can’t accomplish much
‘Guess I just love you too much
Repeat Chorus
‘Guess I just love you… too much

Happy Hour
And I ordered a beer
We don’t talk about you
They don’t know you here
I’m with all my friends
But it’s great solitude
It’s my happy hour
I don’t waste it on you
When we talk about hard times
Some talk of ex-wives
Some talk of old girlfriends
They’ve loved in their lives
But for me that’s the one thing
That’s strictly taboo
This is my happy hour
I don’t waste it on you
Chorus: Twenty-four seven, this ol’ heart’s in pain
Week after week, each day is the same
My only vacation’s Friday afternoon
That’s my happy hour
I don’t waste it on you
And If I see and old friend
That we both once knew
We’ll talk like old buddies
‘Til they bring up you
That’s when I tell them
I’ve got something to do
‘Cause this is my happy hour
I don’t waste it on you
Repeat Chorus
My one consolation’s Friday afternoon
That’s my happy hour
I don’t waste it on you

She Could Do Better
She won’t act the way you’d like
She won’t do the things that make you proud;
Make her special in your eyes
She won’t even try to understand
Even though you’re always right
You say you think she could do better
And for once, I think you’ve seen the light
Chorus: She could do better
Than someone like you
Someone who’d never
Put her down the way you do
She could do better
And I hope someday she’ll see
She could do better
She could have me
‘Cause I love the way she laughs out loud
The way she dances in the aisles
And all the things that you complain about
That smug look in your eyes
She’ll never make you happy
Aw ‘cause you just can’t be pleased
So I’ll love her from a distance
And pray someday she sees
Repeat Chorus / Solo / Repeat Chorus
She could do better
And I hope someday she’ll see
She could do better
She could have me

The Big Bad Dog
I looked in the mirror at the fog filled night
I saw a big chrome grill fillin’ up my back glass
It was a semi-truck and she was on my ass
I saw big shiny bulldog on her fiberglass snout
And I knew it was the truck they all talked about
Tearin’ up the highway at breakneck speed
Dodging every scale and every DOT
Chorus: Doin’ ninety miles an hour with a trailer on the back,
She’s a little bit Peter; she’s a little bit Mack
Spittin’ out smoke just as black as coal,
That’s another hundred miles and a gallon of oil
She’s hell on wheels and a real road hog,
Get outta the way of the big, bad dog
She lost the driver’s side door back in 89,
Had a fiberglass hood, just sanded and primed
Thirteen gears, 4 more in the back
The frame said Peterbilt, the cab said Mack
She had a queen size sleeper with satin sheets
The driver never did pull her over to sleep
Haulin’ through rain, mud, snow and sleet
Draggin’ everything from steel to Kansas wheat
Repeat Chorus
Bridge: Drop a load in Wichita
Crushed cars to Arkansas
Hot Sauce down to Louisiana
Dead head back to Texarkana
Next load goes to San Antone
Man she just keeps chuggin’ on
Hunkered down and makin’ racket,
If you can stack it, she can drag it
Yeah, yeah
So if you ever take a trip down I-35
Look in the mirror at the fog filled night
See a big chrome grill fillin’ up the back glass
It’s the big, bad dog – better move your ass!
Chorus: Doin’ ninety miles an hour with a flatbed on the back,
She’s a little bit Peter; she’s a little bit Mack
Spittin’ out smoke just as black as coal,
That’s another hundred miles and a gallon of oil
Doin’ ninety miles an hour with a reefer on the back,
She’s a little bit Peter; she’s a little bit Mack
Spittin’ out smoke just as black as coal,
That’s another hundred miles and a gallon of oil
She’s hell on wheels and a real road hog,
Get outta the way of the big, bad dog
Boys she’s hell on wheels and a real road hog,
Get outta the way of the big, bad dog
