Country music fans in Minnesota recently hopped onboard the “Shane Train” to Clear Lake, IA to join hometown favorite and rising country star Shane Wyatt (www.shanewyatt.com) as he opened for the legendary Randy Travis at the famous Surf Ballroom (the location of Buddy Holly's final show) on July 18.
"Randy has been a huge influence on me as a singer and an artist; getting to spend some time with him and his band was a great thrill for me. Having the show be here at such a historic venue made the night even better!", said Wyatt.Shane's Minneapolis fan club chartered a bus for the trip to Clear Lake, Iowa, and Shane treated them to a meet and greet prior to the show.
Shane wanted to send this special note to his fans:
"Thanks for coming out to support me at this show! When you open for a guy like Randy Travis, you know that you are going to be playing to his fans... it was such a treat to see so many of my fans from the area and beyond to make the drive out, pay the higher ticket prices so that they could share this great experience with me!"
